SEER: PCA's Inaugural Film Festival Launches This October

This October, Paris College of Art will present the inaugural SEER Film Festival, a new event bringing together the PCA community around film, moving image, and emerging creative voices. Watch the trailer below:

Created as a space for discovery, exchange, and celebration, SEER will showcase a range of perspectives and approaches to contemporary filmmaking. The festival reflects PCA’s international and interdisciplinary environment, giving students an opportunity to share their work in a festival context and engage with audiences beyond the classroom.

The first edition of SEER will include two special events connected to the Global BFA in Film Art (GBFA): GBFA Day on October 22, 2026, followed by the GBFA Party on October 24, 2026. Together, these events will bring students, faculty, alumni, and guests together to celebrate the program and the community that has grown around it.

Throughout the festival, screenings and events will highlight filmmaking in its many forms, from narrative and experimental work to other approaches to the moving image. SEER creates a new platform at PCA for students and emerging filmmakers to present their work, exchange ideas, and experience the collective nature of exhibiting film for an audience.

The launch of SEER is rooted in our emphasis on experimentation, international exchange, and creative practice.
