Description:
This assistantship is for fluent/native French speakers.
- Help PCA students improve their conversational French by taking 20 minute zoom or in-person appointments to converse
- Formulate topics to discuss during the appointments (e.g sessions focused on: past tense, future tense, leisure, art and design, grocery shopping, ordering a meal etc)
- Correct pronunciation and grammar
Experience, competencies and skills to be gained:
- Tutoring skills
- Lesson planning
Approximate hours per week: 3-5
Schedule depends on availability of both tutor and tutee. Can be done remotely, no fixed schedule.
