Set in the vibrant cultural hub of Paris, PCA’s Fine Arts program nurtures artistic skills, creative expression, and an understanding of art’s connection to current societal issues.
Students gain a solid foundation in both traditional and contemporary media, from drawing and painting to video and digital imaging. In junior year, you can focus on 2D, 3D, or 4D disciplines, with elective courses allowing exploration across departments.
Through critical theory, art history, and hands-on practice, the curriculum fosters analytical thinking, while museum and gallery visits enhance your experience in both historical and contemporary art.
Teaching art is about initiating total involvement, passion, questioning and questioning the questioning, experimenting, process, investigating ideas, inventing and finding visual answers.
