A mountain hamlet, at the beginning of summer. Félix descends from the alpine pasture where he tends to his cows and discovers the lifeless body of his elderly mother. In shock, he flees. He drives several kilometers down the valley to meet the young man who has just contacted him on a dating app.

After a long absence, Max returns to Paris and moves in with his father in the Belleville neighborhood in Paris. He roams the streets, curious about the people around him and eager for connection, but soon feels a growing sense of unease.
